In the magical world of Berkeley there are little nooks and crannies of wonder and beauty, from the hummingbird dashing between the perennial flowers in the lush gardens of neighborhood yards to collective offerings that beckon all to enjoy. One of these little alcoves of splendor is a public hottub that has been on offer in a neighborhood backyard for decades. The only requirement to be there is silence and respect. It has been a rainy March here in the Bay Area. The rains finally came and Karina and I decided to spend our ecoutearth time in this tranquil little slice of Berkeley.
Find my response to our time there in the collage. Reflecting on this piece of art now it brings me in reflection with the ancient and sublime -- a transporting of sorts to a whole other continent as I melted into the heat of the water and communed with fellow naked humans in a backyard for a day in complete silence -- our animal selves paying homage to dipping into the core of ourselves.
